Language requirements for QR (EK,GF) CC?
 

Been watching this space for some time now, but haven't found answer to my question... how does cabin crew work for QR (and also other Gulf carriers) without the knowledge of Arabic language?
As I understand there is no requirement for potential candidates to know Arabic in order to be employed by QR (EK,GF). Gulf is very cosmopolitan and QR carries mostly westerners etc, but there is a number of Qataris and they are flying as well... so, do they all really speak English/German/French etc etc in order to communicate with cabin crew or are there local, Arabic speaking cabin crew among them???
Sorry if I sound silly with this, but ads for ground based staff vacancies usually require knowledge of Arabic... so where's the difference? :confused: :confused: :confused:

There are Arabic speaking cabin crewmembers on all GF flights...

I think QR have something like 55 different nationalities as Cabin Crew. I dont theink they all speak Arabic but they do all speak English. As far as Im aware there are no Qataris as Cabin Crew only Flight Crew.

Arabic is not a must at QR.

There are Arabic speaking cabin crew,recruited from arabic speaking countries for the above said purpose.

Generaly,there is (99.99 per cent of time) atleast one Arabic speaking crew member per flight.
