STC is more than just a President having been responsible for the airlines creation and may I add success since the very beginning. Dubai's most valuable asset cannot be left to chance. GAG or AAR, my money is on WW.

Personally I cannot see WW for the role as he is too blunt for the culture here and EK wont want to be seen to be bringing a LCC leader as that would suggest their direction of travel.

STC was quoted in the local press as saying "Running a company this size by an expat is a bit embarrassing. We have a very strong cadre in our senior management, both national and expatriate." I also can't see Sheikh Mo giving his blessing to an expat taking over if a national is put forward instead.
