FLYADEAL SELECTS BOEING FOR UP TO 50 737 MAX JETS 21 Dec 2018
Jeddah, KINGDOM OF SAUDI ARABIA – Saudi Arabian Airlines Corporation confirms that it has concluded the evaluation process for a tender for 50 narrow body aircraft to support the further growth of its low cost subsidiary, flyadeal. Boeing and flyadeal, reached an understanding today and announced the Middle East carrier is growing its fleet with the 737 MAX to take advantage of the airplane’s fuel efficiency, range and passenger comforts. The airline committed to ordering 30 airplanes with options for 20 more in a deal that would be valued at up to $5.9 billion at list prices. |
Are they sending back the 320s? |
think they are on loan from Saudia

Minimum requirements:
|
Any idea of pay and schedule? |
FOR FIRST OFFICER: IF YOU ARE OVER 40 YOU ARE TOO OLD.

scuttlebutt says 14 100 usd monthly + accomodation + transportation for a 21 on 10 off
|
If that's for FO, then the captain deal might be interesting, but think I'd want positioning to be within the 21, and in business class.
|
I guess that you'd get the same travel home arrangement each month that Saudia expats have or something similar. It's ACM which is effectively standby economy but jumpseats are available at the operating Captain's discretion. I doubt that it'll be better than that.

Anyone know anything about the tax situation if your commuting home on 11 days off (Ireland or UK) ?
So, on this contract, if you're commuting back & forth to Ireland / UK one would suspect that you're likely to get clobbered by some income tax... which would therein make it a somewhat questionable contract to begin with, wherein (i.e. after tax) your net take-home would be in the region of $8,500 USD. |
21on-10off? What a crap schedule.. and measly pay to live in that **** hole country under MBS.. no thanks!

OKC: agreed in general, just short of the home base, however. Hope you don't mind pointing out the the extra yard. https://www.revenue.ie/en/tax-profes...udi-arabia.pdf Article 15 (3).
Given the amount of cash involved, it'd be counter-productive to even voice an opinion here. Each must go see a person who understands the implications within the legal framework home. Just an observation then: Identical wording elsewhere in EU means that the taxes are done in KSA (even if zero) and the passport state only gets the difference up to their rates ONLY from work exercised OUTSIDE KSA territory. What is done inside the Kingdom is not claimable to them. But for instance per-diems from international routes would be. |

Hi 1. Does anyone know which agencies are hiring for Flyadeal ? I heard FCI is one of them. 2. Has anyone been through the screening process or working there now, please PM |
They've stopped recruitment due to max8 issues.
I sent a CV then agent sent message about recruitment on hold |
Flyadeal has now cancelled the 737Max order and will go for the Neo. |
