Well done Canada.... great balls.... of course the UK (at least the Tory party) would never follow suit, or even criticise KSA, they'll just flog them some arms... surreptitiously... again.

The Saudis followed up with this cute tweet of an Air Canada 777 headed for the CN Tower:

Who needs them anyway...shove off and good riddance.

A lot of them seem to enjoy going to school and relocating to the west, I hope Canada closes the taps.

Good on KSA !! Don’t let anyone get into your business, if everyone minded their own business we wouldn’t have all this crap going on in this world.

I would like to see how all of you guys react when people tell you how to live your life at home 🙄

What will happen if the Canadians ban Saudi aircraft over its airspace to get to the States? Interesting times ahead.

Jonathan01 7th Aug 2018 09:41

So Saudi has diplomatic spats with Qatar and now Canada. Would be interesting to see if EU stand up for Canada. UK and US wouldn't do that anyways. Started off with Saudi kicking out Canadian ambassador and now stopping flights. What next ?

Couldn't agree more.

I understand that Canada also have the same opt out of the Chicago convention that lets them ban overflights as Saudi has done

and they rightfully should. The image is a threat and even apologizing doesn’t mean anything because you claim it was intended for the return of the ambassador- in that case why didn’t they show Ottawa? Idiots

That post of a Air Canada Jet is not for real is it? Nobody could be that stupid....well again....maybe some cultures that are so out of touch could be.

Folks, you just can't make this stuff up...

Saudi group apologises after airliner post resembling 9/11

Tweet showing an aircraft heading towards Toronto's CN Tower with a warning deleted after social media backlash.

A group in
Saudi Arabia apologised and deleted a Twitter post showing an image of an Air Canada passenger plane veering towards Toronto's tallest skyscraper with a warning against meddling in others' affairs.

Some on social media noted the image was reminiscent of scenes during the
September 11, 2001, attacks on the United States, when nearly 3,000 people were killed by 19 hijackers - 15 of whom were Saudi nationals - who flew airliners into the World Trade Center's twin towers and the Pentagon.

They "apologize" but they damned well knew what they were doing, just as they did in 2001.

Where does Osama bin Laden`s family live?

polax52 9th Aug 2018 21:37

I think that the Crown Prince, MBS, is walking a fine line between liberalising the country and appeasing the small but extreme religious community. His aim is to direct the country West. It would be a shame if foolish Canadian domestic politics were to upset his trajectory.

We’re talking about a country that supplied 15 out of the 19 hijackers and the lions share of the funding for 9/11 (hence lawsuits from victims’ families), SOPS. The picture doesn’t really surprise me in the least. No doubt this will be deleted but none of what I have written here is anything other than documented fact.

Indeed but considering all the internal problems related to money and the amount of useless people (royal family) sucking it, maybe he thinks that he has a lot of money....
