APAPI Lights

Hi everyone,

I require eye to wheel height (EWH) of Twin Otter Aircraft (DHC-6 400 series) to calculate the distance of APAPI lights from Threshold. Specification for the Twin Otter is available but no information pertaining to EWH is mentioned over there.

I have gone through ICAO Part 4 Visual Aids Appendix 6 as well but EWH is not listed for DHC-6.

What should be the possible way to calculate the EWH?

A good chance, it would seem, for the SkyDive Dubai pilots to have a go in this forum👍🏻😎

I don't think the skydive pilots have needed nor used an approach aid of any kind in quite a few years :-)

There is a Transport Canada Recommendation A09-04 saying that pilots should contact the aircraft manufacter for that

For the Twin Otter, it should be around 2.6 m

Thank you Neektu. Will you please refer any document whereby you got that information?
