Thats what we said when we heard the rumour the were moving productivity to 92 hours...surely not..wont ever happen....

gents. The last time I flew the first class companies, I was disappointed in all means. and I fly them once a month.
there is no Service anymore, there is no friendly staff anymore, I dont know the reason why a ticket in C-Class cost 3K one way when there is no service, If I dont want Service I fly LH ;-)

Their CSA have been sharing rooms since the A380 started flying. Just what you want after a 16 hour flight, to then have to work out with your colleague who gets to do the 3 S's first... and if you have opposite sleep rhythm, forget it!

They also share ROOMS in Dubai; yes the others (CC) share apartments but they know this when they join it's not a secret. The CSAs do too, but I don't think it can be compared to sharing a flat with your own room to have two of them in one room especially after an ultra long haul flight.

Doesn't surprise me though, EK have been on the penny (dirham) pinching path lately...

I suppose if enough crew complain about snoring then management would have to do something about it.

Yes, they will ground the snoring one, send you to a sleeping apnea test while removed from roster. Your medical certificate approval will be pending the results, and fleet will send an email asking for explanation of your unacceptable behavior. Maybe you’ll dodge a warning letter, but later on you’ll receive another email asking why you’ve had so many sick days this year (even tho they were the ones sending you to the clinic). Maybe they’ll delay your upgrade one year due your low productivity.

To be fair they did change a couple of flights but that was only after the pilots also complained. They could give two fkucs if the CC complain fatigue... at least there's a couple of dr's in the clinic who gave a rats but they probably won't last long with that attitude

Don't those hard-working girls that maintain the showers on the A380 share a hotel room on layover and have since inception of the service? I don't recall anyone raising a finger to protest against that. Why is it a concern suddenly now that the company has figured out a way to squeeze a few more dirty-hams by imposing the same on the regular CC?

Good grief, if this comes to fruition what a disaster. If they dare do it to pilots I'll be on the next flight back home. Doesn't look promising for a payrise in 18 does it...

Cabin Crew received a clarification from management that those are fake rumours. I won't go onto the content of the email but some ideas discussed are actually good ones that are already applied by other airlines (some will say for once!)
