EK Flight Deck Snack Box
 

How is it possible for a sandwich to appear in the Flight Deck snack box without some wizzard announcing a two year review prior to a decision of this magnitude? The previous two year review resulted in a cardboard box and cheap yoghurt, the latter of which was quickly withdrawn, sadly without its well deserved review. Perhaps said Team is otherwise occupied reviewing EK's all widebody fleet choice.

I'm missing my nuts too. That and the apple were the only edible things.

The sandwiches are there because they had to cancel so many Doha flights and had no one to give all these lovely things too.

Yes. Lufthansa did this years ago on their domestic flights - for passengers at the gate.
You just helped yourself to the fruit and sarnies you wanted before boarding and put in a branded bag

My God is that all you guys get, a snack box!!! Not even what passes for a pax meal on EK. I knew things were bad but not that bad, you poor, poor souls.
