Bonds , where to find the cash?
 

I noticed from the EK website:

How does the Emirates training bond apply?

All Flight Crew will be bonded for a period of three years. The bond for Direct Entry Captains will be either US$12,000 or US$36,000 and for First Officers is US$36,000, depending on Emirates’ training course eligibility.

Is this actually a cash deposit into their bank? 12k for rated?

I thought they were short of experienced new joiners, makes no sense :ugh:

No. You don't have to pay them anything on the way in.
If you leave you owe them the money, and they will deduct it from your final pay.

There is no training bond at Emirates. I may have said this before.

Then why does it say bond on HR direct?
