STC on the way out

The newest rumour is that STC was fired.
Can anybody confirm what is going on with Timmy Boy?

Mrs Mangels 17th Dec 2016 19:40

Well if you can't get rid of the local, must get rid of the yokel!!!

"The newest rumour is that STC was fired."

Some rumour......

I doubt "the powers that be" want the headline that STC has been fired!! After all there is no problem in Dubai or Emirates, everything is hunky dory and doing wonderfully (well thats what the publicity and press would have you believe!).

Anyway never let the truth get in the way of a good rumour......
Keep Discovering........

Yepp, fired would be a lot of bad press. Retiring sounds more feasible....

what an embarrassment for a CEO to have a newcomer above him, when they hired Mueller it was the beginning of his end

I'm sure STC knows how much sand is in his hourglass.

AlanPardew 18th Dec 2016 05:16

He has not been fired, but he is leaving in June

Difficult to "retire" nationals probably .
Maybe CM as new CEO ?

Yarra 18th Dec 2016 08:19

AP...is that also a rumour or did STC divulge that info????

He has informed senior management and his family have made friends aware they are all leaving Dubai in June.

Rumour is he's taking the Palace job from me.

thanks for the 3 points yesterday

fatbus 18th Dec 2016 12:21

STC hired CM . More than likely as his replacement when he retires in June. But let's not let facts get in the way of a good rumour considering what site this is.

halas 18th Dec 2016 12:31

Sheikh Mo employed CM because he could see his returns diminishing by the day...

This is definitely an early Christmas present for many.

fatbus, lets go with that.

In reality (not a fact) STC has been playing lame duck role since August, 2015, probably Emir decided he needed to do something. It became more ceremonial when CM joined.

Retired, fired, rumor, truth or fact, who cares as long as there is an expiration date.

Any news on rest of Mafia B and Mafia I, are they planning an exodus or planning to stay put until they are "retired". I am guessing option 2, because they are not employable because they have no real skills.

He has been on the downward spiral for some time now. I guess, just as Tiger, he was waiting for a last big result to leave in glory. Too long, too late. Tiger will never win again and Timmy did not even make the cut once in the last year. This explains his obviously stupid "everything is rosy cosy" interview lately where he continues to praise the blunderbus and confirms to still take the lethal dose of them .....

It's never nice to see people with a certain record fall from the podium, but once they cling to it to the employees' detriment, it starts felling really, really good.

As for the local geek, no matter what, it will feel bombastic the moment he gets sacked with a crescendo virtuoso.

Iraq were thankful with the removal of Saddam. That seemed to work out ok.
