Perfect timing.....

X-BleedOpen 5th Oct 2016 16:32

I'm on a whatsapp with over 30 FOs affected by this 35 years rule. Whoever is not flying will be there.

Little Evil knows when to strike.......

But remember, Doha is no Dubai, your job may improve,
but your private life will take a down grade.

Airmann 6th Oct 2016 07:49

Commute. On the 777 it's a piece of cake. 14 flights a day to Dubai +3 to Sharjah. Bid for US and you're looking at 10-12 days off a month.

Obbie 6th Oct 2016 13:50

????? Unless you have purchased a place, you can't just stay after you quit.

Airmann...Don't forget DWC

So apparently there's no 6 month "no poaching" agreement between the ME3 after all?

Good question, it looks like that there is no agreement :}

They might be coming to poach the flydubai guys?

MosEisley 7th Oct 2016 06:18

"No honor among thieves" springs to mind.

Flydubai is a 737 operator. QT doesn't fly those, do they?

Of course I suppose they could be just looking for bodies to fill a seat no matter what their background/experience is.

To apply for this opportunity in our Flight Deck team you must meet the following minimum requirements:

They are also looking for Airbus rated pilots, pilots with a type rating on one of their aircraft, and non type rated pilots. FO and Captain positions.
I'm sure they can find plenty of candidates in Dubai...

Is there any way to get on without Boeing or Airbus time? I have always been a corporate pilot, but I'm ready to start a life in the Middle East. My only want is to do extensive international flying.

    Kapitanleutnant 8th Oct 2016 00:18

    Loud Handle....

You are correct, Sir!! I just saw this myself.

    sudani555 9th Oct 2016 09:12

I think the requirements for road show will be different ...
I know UAE very well...there is no pilots with Airbus endorsement sitting at home waiting for QR to come and hire them....they targeting FZ /EK and Etihad pilots ...
