Well Again The tide is changing...Again!
Massive direct entry recruitment has begun in all seats again!
Even on the EMB175 which up to the 31st of August 2016, was slated to be closed.
Most of the crews were in the middle of their B737 conversion when they were told by management that the course was cancelled with immediate effect and they would be returning to their equipment.
So boys(and yes Girls) send in your C.V's theyre growing and need you!
Just be aware that youre gona be a slave with no or very limited time off for the 1st year.

Welcome to Oman.

airborneksa 13th Dec 2016 16:17

Ramones, Why do you consider yourself a monkey LOL. Do you want me to upload the bond terms here? I would be glad to provide evidence of bond.

I consider myself a professional pilot I don't know you .
I can read my contract very well and MY bond is not what you are posting
In two years in Oman Air I don't have anything less of what is written in my contract
Have fun

Question

Are they looking for any DEC on the 787?

airborneksa 21st Dec 2016 17:38

Ramones, I would like to mention these are the new, revised bond terms. Bond 3 years/Employment term 2 years, either ways they want you to pay if you leave.

Luibar 21st Dec 2016 19:43

Another lower standard of respect?

airtractor 22nd Dec 2016 07:23

you will not have to pay anything as long as you stay 3 years and give your 3 months notice.

privatepilotantalya 23rd Dec 2016 12:27

any news about their latest vacancy for the 737

airborneksa 25th Dec 2016 16:58

So after 2 years end of contract you have to stay another 1 year without contract? Or if they decide to downsize which seems to be happening in the region then?

737seeker 27th Dec 2016 16:56

i applied online about a month ago via CTC but no reply yet. only auto reply from CTC that confirms reciept of the application.

any idea how long it takes to get any response ?

i have about 1000 hrs on b737ng & 4000+ hrs total.

exLaker 27th Dec 2016 17:47

You can apply directly with Airline through website!! No need to go through an agency!!
Agencies make money off you directly and under the table as well...!!
Just go directly with the Airline if you can!!

PS. Some agency have preferences on some nationalities.....

Ex. Laker

737seeker 27th Dec 2016 22:47

@ex laker: but under current vacancy on career page of oman air, B737NG first officer is not listed. i will go ahead and fill the generic application form anyway.

if anyone here knows the contact details of the chief pilot or HRD, kindly share via PM please. thanks
