Karma. Is a bitch. |
It is so very interesting reading this, interesting in a way which some may find what I say rude or ignorant?
Are all Islamic countries like this? Are they all so very, for want of another word, unhumane and short sighted? It really is staggering the similarities I have read and experienced working in Indonesia, and it may make me sound like a small minded individual, but having lived and worked in an Islamic country, reading here what I have, I have absolutely zero desire to ever visit or work in one of these countries again. The cultural clash is just far to big. |
TypicalBrit, Even then you need good insurance/reserve funds back home to cover lifetime shrink bills after you are done with this adventure. Per my calculations there are thousands of young guys/gals never going to trust their employer, and home countries have to deal with their issues.

The cultural clash is just far to big. But it seems to me that bad working conditions and disregard for human lives and rights have much to do with the new world order and corporatocracy and that is easier to implement its postulates in companies which have established their businesses in countries which don't have strong human and labour rights tradition (fights, revolutions and trade unions). But it will spread soon enough to all the countries, as it seems. It also seems to me that any attempt to involve any religion in any business is just an excuse which draws the attention away from the real reason of making us all slaves - profit for the elected few. |
