Logbooks and records of other duties
Hello EK aviators,
I just wanted to give you a heads up to carry proper documentation with you when operating into EASA Land from now on. Merry Xmas from free Europe P.S. to EK management: maybe that cover up after the WSJ article (9Apr 2015) wasn't the brightest idea in the long run. |
would you care to indulge more information?;)
|
What do you need to carry?
|
There is no requirement anywhere to carry personal logbooks...
|
Passport, Licence and medical and thats about it!
|
Nothing changed aus far as I know.
|
in freedom,
If you are the Teutonic ex-EK of legend who lit the fire for the WSJ article, you have mine, and many others, sincere admiration. Keep fighting the good fight, no empire lasts forever! :ok: To others, I think the message is you better cross those t's and dot those i's when in Europe...EK could be in for some closer scrutiny. |
nolimit, thank you for the kind words.
You are correct. EK is in for some closer scrutiny and I just wanted to make sure it doesn't land on the individual pilots. It wouldn't be above EK to punish the victims. As for the fight, it is far from over. They made my life very complicated and cost me a fortune. I am happy to return that favor. I recently talked with and met some former colleagues. To be honest I am still shocked by how the life has been drained from each and every one of them on the 777. Formerly joyful guys have turned into tired men with stern faces. Life seems to be better on the 380 though. To make your lives easier and to help stop the downward spiral in international aviation I will continue to put EK in the corner where they belong. They must be economically mad to cut all these corners. What if there ever was a serious investigation after an incident that then leaked into the press? All the effort they put into building the brand would be gone in an instant. As for my personal fight I have a feeling that the Jewish Harvard lawyers at my new company may eventually help me to get back what's mine. Safe travels and happy landings |

KCW - not that you are a real pilot - but the EPC card hasn't existed since before you "joined" it's APC. Another chink in the troll.

KCW, please do let me know how that 380 conversion is going for you. Was loooking forward to the piece of humble pie you were offering but something tells me it got shoved down your throat... |

You know what they say.....go big early, avoid the rush!
(IMHO it is big but it isnt ugly.....but then again I might be biased) |
Well nobody joined Sept 16th, 2014 so it's all a bit suspect. But I did find a candidate that has two Seattle trips in the second half of December. If you have a mental picture of who would write these types of messages he fits the profile.
It's best to keep your head down around these parts rather than expose yourself completely especially when you decide to write nonsense that makes everyone instantly dislike you. |
KCW is probably cabin crew! Doing his "conversion " onto the 380!
