Well, nothing awarded which means no Peak Leave 3 years in a row. Any suggestions as to who I email? Oh I almost forgot, 47 days owed, but I'm confident we aren't short of pilots :ugh:

WhiteFly 20th Dec 2015 15:31

I assume monarch you are on the JD... as on the fatbus seems a dif ball game at the moment.

I got 30 days with 20 peak... LHS low seniority with a balance of 27

Eau de Boeing 20th Dec 2015 15:40

Same here, 29 allocated of which 14 are peak and about 25 days remaining.

A question regarding leave

Hi all,

I'm starting with EK in a week on 777 (apparently).....and have a question about leave.

I hear everyone is flat out, but when the leave bids come in, if I apply/request for all leave that I am entitled to and I don't get it.....does the unused/unallocated leave roll over to the next year (eg: is it banked?).....or does it disappear?

Thanks for you time.

Eternity.

sluggums 22nd Dec 2015 11:46

Yes, but they'll also try to allocate as much of it as they can during the current leave year and give it to you at the most useless times possible. It's manageable for a year or two, but it gets old really quickly when it happens on a regular basis.

eternity 22nd Dec 2015 11:55

Ok. That's a trick my current airline pulls on us at a regular basis.....

Thanks for the heads up mate.

Not all of us habibi, not all of us. :ok:

I was awarded ten days off in a row this month. And next month. And the month after...

Oh wait - this is the Middle East, predominately Emirates forum. My mistake. Had a bit of PTSD for a second.

Good luck to all and sundry. It will get worse before it gets ummm..even more worse.

The Turtle 28th Dec 2015 04:44
