Another one of their "historic" announcements. Had to many of them while I was there, not so much history made by this guys. Maybe closing down would be a "historic" act :E

I agree on the basing being a possibility but why does the announcement need to be done on Dec 9th and in NYC anything special happening on that day???

It's simply that they are going to put the 380 on JFK.
They like to make much about nothing.

That combover is really working for Al Baker. Of course he is in competition with a jedi master in the art in that photo so you can't see it as well.

Qatar Airways will announce they are going public and that's why they will be in NYC! Akbar Al baker will be meeting the investment bankers who will be doing the IPO..inside information

Yeah, the combover was what I was looking at in the picture. :rolleyes:
