Promotion to FO in Qatar
 

Hi,

Normally what's the progression route to be promoted to a FO from a SO? How many years?

Training route: cadet from a flying school, conditional employment by Qatar.

Here's a better idea. Go get a proper entry level job and get some
real experience. Then apply directly as a FO.

Make yourself an asset to your future captains, instead of a liability.

First solo in a jet huh Obbie...like you as well as most of us were never a liability to a Capt?

Obbie has his points tho his words are hard to take..from what I heard,SO training has the least priority after command and FO..I went for 1st intetview for SO like 3 years ago and failed,came for another try for FO early this year and the guy who made it for SO who came with me during the 1st interview is still there doing his SO training..it is almost 2 years since he joined..and to live with 10k qar a month for 2 years is no joke there man..
