TRIPS now on iPad!
 

Hi all,


It appears that the new TRIPS can be accessed with iPad using the Puffin web browser.

I'm 99% sure I could've proceeded with a full ticket request. Feedback from others would be appreciated.

I just tried and it looks to be working as well. Just make sure that the pop-up option is turned off so it does not block it.
It looks like the MyIDtravel works as well.

Thanks Bob! Good that you mentioned the pop-up issue. The MyIDTravel benefit was unexpected but "icing on the cake"! A relief not having to lug the laptop on private travels for possible rebookings! Seems like the iPad will suffice in the future.

Having trouble downloading pufin , is others having e same thing,thanks

Not on Safari, though? Or is it just me?

If you having trouble downloading puffin, try turning on your VPN, I believe it's blocked in the UAE at present.

All works great, outside the ME, but unless you have a VPN it's a no go in Dubai.

Never had a problem with myIDTravel using Puffin on the old Trips system. The only thing you couldn't do on TRIPS itself was select a date of any kind if booking/listing etc.

I just downloaded the Puffin app on iPad in the UAE. No problems in UAE, restricted in Saudi and China.
Trips works great on Puffin, especially now that the "special tickets" issue has been resolved.

I have a problem with puffin then, I downloaded it in NY and used trips with no problem, now back in the UAE it just states "connecting to server" but never does? It will not access anything at all.

Anyone got a suggestion for me?
