To pilots flying into OTBD

Can you tell me how it works, ATC-wise?

When you leave, say, Bahrain or Dubai ACC (Qatar does not have a ACC, right?), do you contact Doha Approach directly or someone else? And do you stay in contact with that same controller until on final approach and in contact with TWR? Or do they have different frequencies and controllers for initial vectoring, final approach vectoring etc....

Thanks! :)

it's all on the charts buddy...Bahrain will hand you off to Doha approach then they take it from there...

Normally there is only one approach and 1 tower freq. that handles ground. Sometimes when things get really busy they also have a final controller and separate ground freq. I have always been quite impressed with the ATC here as they are quite professional and good even when extremely busy.
