I applied for a FO position at the non mentionable...its been nearly 2 years and the status of my application says "submitted"...I havent yet heard from them...
Anyone know what theyre upto??

3 of our boys from Ariana just got in, start date is Jan 14 perhaps you should re-submit? or go in to AUH and have a word, instead of calling them the no name airline for the sake of all us pilots in the ME forum lets come up with a new name for them.


1.) Flag carrier
2.) Flag & Falcon
3.) Abu Dhabi jet cadets
4.) Etimad
5.) The gods

I like #4 best.

I know I'm a bit of a geek and since it's the airline that can't be named, how about Voldemair?

I know, some of these are old, but:

1) Irritates
2) Imitates
3) Emptihad

"Imitates" is excellent but the analogy breaks down slightly - they are imitating a business plan when they are not in fact a business in any sense but a well-funded publicity stunt.

I'd say 'Irritates'....2 years with only once a mail from them to update my application...pretty irritating...though they require alot of pilots
