Boeing gets spanked for its 787 technical issues! Or is this just negotiating posturing? Al Baker is a very good negotiator.

In actuality this initial lack of interest wouldn't surprise me too much with QR's massive A350-900/1000 order and options. Plus, both EK and the other big UAE carrier will be operating the 777X - QR will not want to completely copy the fleet types of the other two carriers. Here is the article:
