Any info on them? Do they actually provide the line training after your type?

No they do not provide any line training since they only have simulators but I think they ha e a deal with Atlas Jet. There is a 10% limit for the number of foreigners flying for a company in Turkey so read your contract closely. If they screw you forget any chances of getting your cash back.

Type 4 is wrong, they have their own Airline called Freebird Airlines based in Antalya.
It's a nice Sim Center close to Istanbul Airport with 4 FFS (2 x 320, 2 x 737) additional 737 Sim in LTAI.
They provide line training on their own A320-A321s

Actually IFTC is owned by Gozen holdings who also owns Freebird airlines. They have a number of agreements with airlines in turkey. The 10 % rules is for employees and is not going to be in place until the new year .. How ever that being said you are a 'Student' and in training so technically that rule will not apply.

IFTC itself is a good operation very professional and quality training. Most of the instructors are from Freebird for the A320 type.

Both are wrong. Iftc has no aoc and no aircraft. To operate as a crew in Turkey even as a student. You need to have a permission by the dgca in Turkey and by the end of this year that number is 10%. Don't pay anything upfront and make sure all agreements are with the company directly and no brokers as in this case, otherwise you will very likely be shafted. And also be careful with the new easa rules as you might not get an EASA-tr.

Just so I can understand this correctly. You want to go pay a company for a rating companies should pay you to do. You then going to pay them to fly for them as well.... Then you going to be surprised that you can't find a job anywhere that actually pays pilots to fly....
The worlds aviation market is in turmoil because of stupidity like this....

IFTC is a dutch company(operating in TR) owned by a Dutchman closely related to Stella flightschool. Vigilance required. NO RELATION to freebird etc etc.

Freebird...right, used to be a nice outfit until the military guys took over.
Moral is low (very low) now and why on earth woud anyone pay for line training.

After the summer they wil send you away.

If you have that much money to waste, buy yourself a sportscar and enjoy the summer.

Acutally your wrong mate.. its a partnership with Gozen Holding (also owner of Freebird Airlines ) and Softflight from The Netherlands. Marty is the CEO of IFTC (also SoftFlight representitive) and Gengiz, The GM (rep for Gozen).
Their FSTD is issued by the french DSAC and there TRTO is linked to Freebird for the Airbus rating.
the only ties with Stella flight school was a few years ago when both IFTC and Stella were going to partner up and open a flight school in Dalaman airport.

I have nothing to gain or lose financially , politically etc etc. The info I am submitting through this PERCEIVED anonymous outlet/freedom of speech etc. etc. (see sticky, no further comment (use brain)). Is only MY knowledge/experience. I am not playing a tennis MATCH with any bodies hard earned peanuts no matter his/her appearance/political/religious/nationalistic/expressional belief. For me anybody qualifies for my defense/info or whatever I could provide them with, for a correct, timely and situational decision making. SINCE correct knowledge = correct decision. Simply put stay away from any company related to aviation in Turkey. There is no such thing as civil aviation there. Just a bunch of crooks mostly coming from barracks with no whatsover idea of what modern commercial flying is and a lot of delusional ego keeping the business hostage. Worst pilot ever seen ,nothing to teach to anyone if not arrogance,opportunism and greed.
Still if you want to pay for your rating and line training you deserve to be shafted so please don't trust a word and go ahead.

its not about a pissing contest who can shoot the highest through the hole or to measure if yours is bigger than mine typ ego trips.. im merely just stating facts so people who are sincere about finding out information can make an informative decision...
i been around enough to know that once you start competing in such useless ego trips brings nothing bad headache :) but i do try, to the best of my abilities, to convey the correct information in an object way which are obtained by facts and not hearsay
what i try not to do is mix my negative emotional biases and conjure up repugnant comments that more targets groups than be informative...

i really don't know what your issue is here in Turkey with THY or any other organisation located within the boarders of Turkey but try look at everything in perceptive... i been here for the later part of 9 years now and i have seen more than those who simply come here for 1-2 years and go...
may be you should,, with your superior knowledge, help yourself to create some sort of understanding or even personal relationships with the locals in order to improve things rather than use your superior arrogance and inferiority complex to demean and trash them...
As you have said... there is no civil aviation or be it limited up untill 15 years ago the airspace was a monopoly controlled by military and 1 major airline ... so you have nearly 80 plus years of established culture and dealings
until 10 years ago the Civil Aviation administration were run by the same bureaucrats mentioned above...
up until 9 years ago it would be near impossible to see a foreigner within any air carrier...
this aint a expat haven nor is the desert of nowhere but things have improved somewhat and will take time to improve more

4. arrogant ,opportunistic and greedy organisations with equally if not more skill managers

You can say there is a racist attack and make it look like you are the victim in a typical attempt to reverse reality. I really have nothing to avenge. I'm just trying to give a more realistic understanding of the Turkish "civil" aviation and its style of interaction with expat to the benefit of the user of this forum.
Calling "culture" what is deriving form the 80 years of military rule it's a long shot. THY ,for example, has the worst safety record in Europe and the 3rd worst in the civilized world. Which culture....CFIT? Crooks acting like semi-gods in a third world country style pantomime, that was the culture and it still largely spreads its negative influence today ( everybody is level 6 :rolleyes: )
My understanding of the aviation scene as a whole is better than you can even imagine...and again I have never seen such a striking contrast between such mix of negativity (poor CRM, lack of real understanding, rote training and so on... ) and delusional self perception and arrogant pride.The by product of which are one of the most unsafe environment ever seen and an appalling display of immaturity . And that goes on top of the exploitative and discriminating way ( racist ?? may be this time the term could be appropriate) way of interacting with expat, taking advantage of them as disposable instruments to their grand plans, by lying, cheating and trying to turn thing to their own only and exclusive advantage. The style has only one name : scam. No surprise Turkish secondary airline are the preferred partners of the line training scammers.
Make no mistake, you can block Twitter and Youtube and fool your people. still the image of Turkey and Turkish people passed by its "civil" aviation is sailing through the internet and spreading very fast. And the most immediate conclusion is that Turkey aviation scene is not expat friendly nor Turkey offers a good environment to learn anything about modern aviation.
Turkey is not ready for EASA ..imagine for Europe...may be in 100 years ?? Reconquering the Ottoman empire..still an option.:ok:

I get as well always this emails offering typerating (CRJ,B737,A320) and offer 500 h on type.

I always wonder who would actually go for such a deal. Seriously, "Pay2Fly"?? I would change profession before doing such thing.

No surprise that T's & C's are going to hell everywhere if people spending that amount of money on something ALWAYS the airline should offer to qualified individuals(and bond them in return).
