Scam in Dubai
 

Hello to all,
I just learned from a friend a helicopter pilot a sad story.
He had applied for a job in dubai through an agency, few weeks later he received an email, the agency informed him that they had found a job for him.

He was offered a position as Chief Pilot at Jet Aviation at $ 16.5 K per month.

I saw the contract, everything was ok, the chief of staff contacted him (personal email) and asked him to contact an agency that would give him a visa.

The agency has sent him of the module and a request to pay $ 400 via Money Gram.

It seems to me a scam.

What do you think?

Jet Aviation Dubai is an authorized service center to provide maintenance and warranty support by Boeing for the BBJ, Gulfstream for the GIV and GV series, Dassault for the Falcon 900 and 2000 series and Hawker Beechcraft for the Hawker 800 series. Jet Aviation Dubai has the approval from the FAA to perform base and line maintenance on Bombardier Challenger 604 and Airbus A318/A319/A320/A321 series aircraft as well as to support light scheduled maintenance (A checks) on Airbus A318/A319/320/321 series aircraft and base maintenance on Bombardier Challenger 604 and 605 aircraft.

Why would they appoint a helicopter pilot as CP when they don't have any rotary types ?

He should:

1.Post the agency's name here - to avoid others going through a similar hassle
