Absolutely fantastic!

And when you do get the job, please make sure that you speak REALLY REALLY quickly on the radio. That will ensure that no one will ever know your not a level 6 English speaker! It does seem to work spectacularly well over all of the subcontinent after all . . . . . .:ugh:

Mate, stop waisting your time on this forum and spend it on the people who recruited you. Ask them for your salary for f**ks sake. Sorry to be so blunt but are you really this stupid.

PM me your real name and when you start the job (god help us), you can Forward your working roster and i'll make sure i'm grounded that day.

How old are you anyway, 17, 18...??

Harry

And mentioning Loadmasters...........

As an aside, did you realise that EK Loadmasters have absolutely no protection from the Flight Time and Duty scheme, despite being flight crew? Found this one out in the middle of the night somewhere east of DXB from a very hard working Loadmaster who had just flown DXB - HKG - DXB, followed by a 4 hour layover (!!) in DXB before departing to CMB on his next duty. And all this from the guys who have on occasion to provide you with a manual load and trim sheet, for your careful consideration.

Whilst following up with Fleet Management was told that they didn't need to be covered under the FTL scheme as they were 'not considered licenced flight crew'. This despite me suggesting to the office that the poor guy who organised the loading and presented the loadsheet for signing was probably going to be even more fatigued than the two sat in the flight deck..........

Fly safe, especially in your 777F!

Freeborn,

Looking at the replies on here so far, I think it's safe to say that ANY job with Emirates (or "Emmirates" if you like) must be the best job in the world.

Add to that, the fact that you are working in such a multicultural environment, and I think it just gets better and better, with solid working relationships amongst all nationalities. Clearly all the crews are a sound bunch of people too, with not even a hint of bitter ex-pats just in it for the tax-free cash.

(Plank Cap is correct about FTL though. Loadies should be included...)

Wishing you luck Freeborn. You'll need it with these clowns...:ugh:
