ek edvantage?

HI!

I used to work for a hotel. They were the local team's biggest sponsor. So every now and then (often) we used to get free VIP tickets for the matches. I was wondering if EK's employees get the same advantages, since they sponsor a lot of events and teams.

Somebody got tickets for the world cup, premier league games or something?

Bidalot 15th Jun 2010 15:02

Yes, we get VIP tickets ( finals only !:{ ) for all family members incl. BC free flights and a vuvuzela in the colour of your own favorite country.

40&80 15th Jun 2010 16:56

Really?
That is quite good.
When Gulf Air sponsored Chelsea years ago we did not get anything at all!

GoreTex 15th Jun 2010 16:58

dont forget the free hotel and free drinks

Bidalot 15th Jun 2010 17:05

GoreTex, sorry, forget about this one........you are right of course ! Was distracted by the free vuvuzela for each family member.

You forgot, transport to and from the ground in a private limousine.

When we were sponsoring McLaren Mercedes three years ago everyone got to drive a McLaren F1 Car at the Dubai Autodrome. Captains only of course, since they were still trying to get lots of DEC's. The F/O's were allowed to watch though and appreciate their Captains driving skills.

...and 72 virgins for every baggage handler.

(They don't offer them to the pilots as they figure they're all too fatigued to do anything with 'em.)

flaphandlemover 16th Jun 2010 13:31

and you get 30 min of free shower time on the 380 for your traveling to the games....

Sorry Cessna. A legitimate question in a normal society but with regard to Emirates it is absurd and thus invoked a lot of leg pulling from people in the know. Emirates is all about making money and not about making people happy. The only thing they will give you for free is a kick in the arse for not obeying the myriad of petty puerile and often childish company rules and regulations.

puff m'call 17th Jun 2010 19:30

In short, emirates take alot but give nothing!!!

Are you allowed to have a barbecue on your day off or is that only allowed for management?

40&80 18th Jun 2010 09:56

Management are not allowed to organise any barbecues...it is a health and safety issue.
