Abu Dhabi With Pets
 

Is Etihad accommodation in Abu Dhabi a place where the wife could bring the pets?
Are there many places for dogs such as parks etc?
Do any of the apartments have gardens?

By company policy, pets are not allowed in company accomodations.There are parks and beaches where you could bring your dogs,just be carefull becouse a lot of people don't love them and they are very scared of dogs.Some town houses have garden.
The best bet is to look for a villa or townhouse by yourself.
For reference: at Raha gardens they allow only 1 dog and 1 cat per family!!

More importantly, you biggest worry will be to find a "dog qualified" vet in Abu Dhabi.

As dogs are frowned upon in the local cultures, most vets tend to specialize only in cats, horses and camels.

Make sure to contact one before you proceed further.

With all due respect you obviously havent looked around for a vet much.
Both the British Vets and the American Vets in Khalidiya are excellent vetinary clinics staffed by experienced expats.
I would say the major drawback is that they are relatively expensive.

That all right. I am not familiar with Abu Dhabi, just the ME in general and SA in particular.

Glad to hear there are plenty of expat vets there. Unfortunately not that is not the case in Saudi.

They publish the rules because the landlord requires this,but SR said that's ok to have dogs even in apartments,and as he said by the year end,at least the marry w/ 2 kids or more will gonna move from Mussafah SMBZC to villas in Khalifa B and A.
