C U all at a Spinneys porky section tomorrow, stocking up on non-halal essentials! :E:ok:
Guess they are going to use the swine flu as an excuse to close our little infidel paradies:eek::{ |
That's what the Gernam and France flts are for
|
I would not joke too much about it.
More than 300 guys at the back and some are spraying the H5n1 virus in the whole airplane. We are staying in this highly poluted pressurized tube for more than 15 h somedays and 90 hours a month. So a maximal exposure. If you feel bad just call the clinic for an appointment, and cross fingers. No risk for you in the HQ offices, except to get your foot in the coffee machine cable.:O |
Ooooooh sh!t...they really did it
All pork is banned in UAE! Maybe these morons should have checked the WHO website first: You cannot get Swine flu from eating Pork!! :ugh: Be cautious when bringing the stuff...import is also banned:( Will eat my last Schnitzel like its Kobe beef :p |
That's nothing, Egypt is culling all of it's 300,000 swine population. Just a small percentage of Coptic Christians rely on these animals for their livelihood and food source but they will be wiped out. Talk about an overreaction, on top of which, these animals generally roam freely and are not penned up so it is going to be one big pig round-up there.
It doesn't demonstrate a very rational, intelligent and inspired decision making process in Arab countries does it? Right, I should be used to that by now :} |
Oh well
It's in the UK.............
|
When it comes to WHO pandemic level 5 (out of 6) I'm not sure people should feel concerned about spinneys pork section... It gets as much difficult to get pork meat in dxb as it is difficult to get a US visa for a Palestinian but we might be facing other problems.
|
LEVEL 5 ! Todays latest
What about us in planes ???? What is the procedure to reduce risk of infection ? Enjoy your flight guys :yuk: |
To reduce risk while on-board or in general?
On-board - Stay at home and don't get on-board :} In general - Wash your hands often and with soap. Don't touch areas around your mouth, nose and eyes. If you feel symptoms CALL for medical consultation, don't travel to the clinic as you risk spreading the virus. Common ways of spreading flu virus is by pushing elevator buttons, touching door handles, shaking hands with people etc etc. This could become a nasty one and I am pretty certain you will see WHO raising to pandemic level 6 soon..... |
......and get your own headset if you've not already got one!
