Gulf Air B777 will start going to Amsterdam and Newyork

I have heard the same sitting in a coffee shop flipping my dominoes, but with the addition of Casa to the network. Better stop flipping my dominoes & start getting ready for B777 to Casa.

Ain't gonna happen (AMS, JFK, CMN).

Do you have any idea how long it takes to get all the approvals before going to the US? Do you really think the GF guys can do that in a span of a few weeks?

GF has been planning this for a long time. Just because you don't hear about the going-ons behind the scenes doesn't mean it isn't happening.

Let us just hope that it all goes a little smoother than the launch of Shanghai. :oh:

Try several min rest NY turnarounds or
even 22hours lay over minus 8 hours of hotel commuteing...it appeared to bugger up the health of the pilots and cabin crew when Gf did BAH/NY/BAH in their A340....they already have the route approval if still valid from then.

With 100% load factors Gf used to lose money on New York. What will they do differently this time? They couldn't pick a worse time to start flights to the US:confused:
