ek eye test

Hi folks!
Just want to know if anybody else feels theire eyesight has been more blured after the test we did a few months ago?
Could ofcourse be just age catching up with me since I am 45..:bored::8

or, it could end up as a legal matter...

Go get it checked out. It seems for some strange reason that everyone I speak to these days, as well as people outside the business, seem to have had eye problems giving them blurred vision & feeling like something in the eye.

I'm 46 and just in the last year the bloody TV and Cinema screens seem to have all gone out of focus!?! Amazing they all broke at the same time.

You know that box with the writing on on the stick that they put on your nose? Turn it over it shows your age so as a famed opthalmologist, not.... I reckon thats a more likely reason.

Legal matter for looking at your eyes? I hope your kidding b/c that's the funniest thing I've read. My mom told me not to look at girlie pictures for the same reason. I think it's just old age. Gotta love it. But getting it checked out is paramount.

the thing is I have done many eye tests, but this EK one is a bit rough on your eys.I think thats the reason they suddenly stop doing it. I dont think I would payed any notice to it but it turns out many guys seem to be effected by this.

Just my 2p's worth, My night visual acuity started to go down hill at about 45-6 and the cinema is where I notice it most. Just a heads up though, the full eye exam has to be done "if there is a change to the candidates' prescription..." For all those aging b*****s like us, we will have to go and get zapped when we start officially wearing glasses, according to one of the EK AME's

My apologies. Dang, what were they going in the exam that was so rough?

The muscles that control the adjustment of the lenses in the eyes become "lazy" as you reach your forties. The lenses themselves become harder and consequently, less flexible. That is why the eyes appear out of focus when we look at something nearer or farther than what we are looking at.

I endured the same tests a while ago, with some doctor at some cheap EK referred hospital. She (the doctor) screwed up and didn't check the eye fundii (retina, blood vessels, optical nerve), so I needed to have my pupils dilated again on the same day. My eyes became "funny" for some time, but went back to normal after a few hours.
The news now is that we don't need those tests anymore.
