emirates eyesight limits

Hi everyone,

My eyesight is pretty bad -3.5 dioptres each eye and was just wondering if any emirates pilots or anyone who knows could tell me if there are any limits to how bad your eyesight can be at the emirates pilot medical. Also if there are any limits to eyesight will this likely change in the next few years.

You'll be ok with 3.5, i'm around there corrected to 20/20 and other than the initial eye exam to make sure everything is healthy they are happy if your correctable to perfect.

Is all good. Had -3.75 and had the Lasik done. Vision is perfect now.
