GOD BLESS ALL OF US AND SAVE US FROM UK mafia

intaomri 28th Oct 2008 17:02

british stringent measures

Are those two britons planning to scare new peoples from joining Q.A and make room for their country men to join or what . And may be later the senario of entitlements reversed to be good for them .

loc22550 30th Oct 2008 10:12

What B.W. and I.W. are doing is a very short term policy of reducing cost!(same for the roster).
For the long term i'm afraid this will cost a lot to the airline, and the longer they stay the worse it will become.

NoJoke 30th Oct 2008 17:39

LOC

Well said LOC, but again you should disappear, as is the usage of your nomenclature. :ugh:

Can anybody else confirm that all that comes from the flight ops management. It sounds unbelievable. Many people's moral is so down even without these so called cost cuts. They are really looking for trouble if this is true. QR will go down in flames if they don't try too keep experienced and skilled pilots for longer then several years.
Not that i'm saying something new on this forum but they have to start using their heads for something more then just balancing their bodies. You can't apply the same financial policy to an airline with predominately expats personnel as you can to an airline where people are locals and live at home with their family, friends. In order to keep people in the desert you have to give them a lot more then what they make at home. Otherwise you are going to keep “sludge of the sludge” instead “creme ala cream” the latter is a quotation from QR careers website.

I.M.

Latest is I.M. to leave in two months. :ok: I'm going to volunteer to fly the AC that takes him out. :D

A330 man 31st Oct 2008 21:48

I did hear the same news, I.M. will leave in 2 months, some changes in management will occur. No news about B.W.
A.J. will leave his office in December.
I hope it will be a better era for the flight ops.

B.w / I.m

Sorry to say but tinki winki is 100% right . Ita all made by new management from UK .
B.W is talking about cost cutting while him self earning 140 000 rials and driving BMW 740 . Maybe he should start from him self and reduce salary as he did for us and drive nissan instead of BMW .
B.W wants to bring low hours British boys to be his support and lead QA in future .
I.M enjojing on A330 taking nice flights Bali,BKK,SIN.... taking his wife and spending QR money .
Qatari pilots are pushed a side and told to keep quiet.
We can expect change in hotels and reduced alowance .
A320 pilots will wait 3-5 y to be transfered to 777 or 330 .
enjoj brothers in arm

call for the CEO

Twinki said it right and accurate! That's the way we all feel at the moment.
I feel sorry for an airline once was a 5 star level to be managed by 1 star flight ops management!

IM and BW cost was and still very high on QA, simply count the number of months they served versus the decisions they made + their own benefits + the number of resigning pilots + the indirect cost of pilots refusing to join (if they have other options) to realize that IM /BW are bad investment for the company.

The amazing question is how could they dare to get their CCQ to 330 on their first month here, while using the saving argument to stop / delay fleet transfer for the company experienced men on the 320 and the 330?

I know captains on the 320 with 12,000 hrs total time including previous experience on the 300, 767, or DC-10, but with the new rules they have to stay on the 320 while lads with half their time and experience will jump directly on the 330 / 777. well...it will not be long before they resign causing another unnecessary cost to hire and train again on the 320!

Call to the CEO:
SAVE YOUR AIRLINE BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE.

Managers? What are you talking about.

A 330 we should say ok S.S.S ,H.A,M.H with roster R.P are doing good job but we have sham fleet A320 with a joke people CP he couldn't even become Inst before but since he flown with daggers to SAA he become CP and instant INST, CT little Italian with gel in hair what a joke , roster Mhd is joke above all he don't know how to roster him self should he first wash hands or first use toilet what was first in part A or he can ask his boss P.M who is in charge of pilots who jump ship due to bad rosters on A320.

777 CP and DCP one joke after other joke no comment .

A340 Tech pilot from Syria taking minimum fuel till he crash ( if you don't fly you cant crash right ) so he is safe .

B.W and I.M they are here to take a lot of money and type rating and run away like all others did and it will cost airline a lot .

I guess the only 2 in this airline who can do a good change are Sandeep and Mussawi. Good job on the 330 fleet.:D

I cannot stop dreaming about having them instead of IM and BW.:ok:

shneidertrophy 1st Nov 2008 10:45

It looks like these two have mangaged to climb in the popularity polls in a record time!

They must be the two most hated people in this airline at the moment, thanks to their Low Cost British mentality, the self enrichments etc!

Its always the same:

1) Dont do to others what you wont like yourself (e.g. dont give yourself a CCQ while blocking all other pilots on their fleets)

2) False motives ( motivation driven by perely personal goals) will always become apparent after a while!

3) Comunicate, comunicate, comunicate,....

These two are the living proof, once more, that in most cases pilots make very bad managers! SS and H.M are the exception to the rule!

Mr CEO, maybe you should start looking at the hidden treasures withing your flt ops dept if you want a good pilot manager! We have many people here with a lot of previous experience willing to do the job!

Create a management structure like EK or EY, hey we copied everything else from them as well/might as well copy their management strategy(but please leave the Nigels out of it this time), which is based on professionalism and not on seniority and greed and we might be of to a good start!

Maybe you could even restart the management training programme for flight ops!(remember the one which exists for all other departments but not for ours. It was there 5 years ago but was abandoned too soon) Start working now on the managers for the future! And let this management come from within!

But bringing in self made profiteers, people who have no trust whatsoever to count on from the troops behind them, will get you nowhere!

And if you want to bring in people from the outside to do the job, at least have the decency to hire REAL professionals and not wannabees like BW and IM who, lets face it, have less flying experience than the avarage FO in this airline!

Hire an aviation professional, like what EY did when they attracted J.H.! Ok, drastic changes will be needed and people like that will not tolerate interference from the 7th and 9th floor on like what we see nowadays, but at least this airline will start going somewhere!

And it will cost you money, lots of money! And ego cutbacks, as these people will step in the spotlight next to you!

But QR will get somewhere! EY tripples its pax carried this summer compared to last year! THATS WHAT I CALL A RESULT!
(bribing SKYTRAX year after year will not do the trick forever,we all know that)

If not done, this airline will go down, and most probably it will go down in FLAMES!

P.Clostermann 1st Nov 2008 21:14

Go schneidertrophy man, GO!

Good post but boy oh boy, where does that frustration come from!

Chuck Y 1st Nov 2008 23:36

shneidertrophy, guess you should ask some of your collegues from down the road in either Bahrain or Abu Dhabi about your aviation professional J.H. You might find he's not all that you think he is!!! Also I believe you are mistaken if you think that QR copies everything from EY, maybe you meant EK!!!

smartpilot 2nd Nov 2008 03:59

I respect you man and like your inputs

Capt Krunch 2nd Nov 2008 06:10

Ammen to that shneidertrophy..:D

tuan74 2nd Nov 2008 07:24

I believe QR is copying "everything" from EK & EY.... except when it comes to salary and perks...!!! :ugh::ugh::ugh:

Save Your Airline Before It Is Too Late.

For what it's worth gents. In the Arab world AAB being local and not part of ruling clan holds the record occupying the highly desirable seat. His only concern is how to keep it. Consequently he needs loyal servants... In return they will be rewarded with a king's ransom and a freedom to move for some time. Once the dust has settled and power regained chopping the potential rivals is inevitable. The only way to stabilize this airline is to chop AAB. That might not improve the airline's operation will however eliminate destructive instability. I suggest you forget quickly your appelas to the boss he's not interested in stability.

shneidertrophy 2nd Nov 2008 17:22

You said exactly what I could not say!

Sad but true!

A330 man 3rd Nov 2008 09:26

Maybe the rumor has a true side after all?

Rumors indicating the CEO knows he is about to leave the airline and so doesn't care for the instability and destruction of the flight ops?
Even feeling better that the next CEO will be dealing with all that mess….showing the Chairman and others that he was the ONLY man for the job !

I cannot believe it myself, but my mind keep searching for the reason of allowing BW and IM to destroy the flight ops!
