Bugger. The only guy I know staunch enough to turn down his command and go home to keep his family happy.
|
Very saddened to hear the news.
I remember the conversation we had when Greg talked about heading back home. Very enthusiastic and looking forward to getting back to a more settled way of life. RIP fella. |
Very sad news. A great guy and will be sadly missed by all of us that knew him. Thoughts and prayers to his family.

A terrible loss, an incredibly unique type of pilot. One not afraid to think and act outside the square. I still remember doing circuit training with him 20 years ago. Out of all the students I saw none were more dedicated and capable. My heart goes out to your lovely family.
All the best mate. Gone far too early. |
hear hear
hear hear, flew with Greg a few days before the said command interview, a man of conviction, and great courage, for he did indeed pursue a better life for his family back home on the Darling Downs, my deepest condolences to Gregs family in having to deal with the loss of a father, husband, son, and great aviator.
