Is possible to work in middle east with FAA licence? |
Yes yes yes...many do, most regulatory authorities want the FAA ATP for conversion though, not sure of the commercial being acceptable
|
minimum requirements? (not only airlines, even some cargo companies with small aircrafts)
|
1,000 hours and a type rating will get you somewhere.
|
interesting
but 1000 hours on the liner or 1000 hours of GA and then a tr? |
Can you get a type at 1,000 hours? Hmmm, never thought about it... I think ya gotta have 1,500 hours minimum...
Anyhoo, yeah, you can work in the ME with an FAA license. I'm at Saudi Aramco with my FAA license.... |
It's possible to have a type on a private, commercial and an ATP, you would not be competitive without the ATP...
|
yeah sure sorry I meant the FAA ATP frozen with 1500 hours.....
so if you have your atp and at least 1500 hours (in GA) is possible to join and interview? and then payin for the tr? |
Fullboat2 - what type are you flying out there if you don't mind me asking?
