e-gate cards - Dubai
 

Dunno about other Emirates (or even if they are in use) but if you enter dubai on your e-gate card there is a minimum 6 hour stay before using it to exit again....just ran into this the other day.

You can still exit on your passport though, and even get the stamp on your boarding pass if you don't want to fill up your passport..
