EK 777 Emergency Landing at DXB
 

Last Thursday the 5th there was an emergency return of a B777. Heard that it landed on 30L with a hydraulic problem. Fire trucks and much ado.

Guess not. Therefore not much ado:hmm:

EGT and gang are still debating weather they should have put the landing lights on at 10034' (10K + AAL for rwy 30L?) or 10074'(10k +AAL for ARP?). Vee vill show zem how it izz dun from behind zee desk, now vhich vay is left?

hydraulic Problem
 

I heard they lost all the fluid out of the center system after takeoff, decided to return to DXB , jettisoned fuel, ran checklist (alt gear extension...etc,etc) returned safety to DXB. Very nice job I heard. I guess it must have been just like a sim running all those checklist. Great job guys.....:D

Its an EMERGENCY when one is declared with a Mayday. Otherwise it's a non-normal and a return to land. Well handled an no big deal.
