Any recruitment at Qatar ?
 

Does anyone know if Qatar Airways are still hiring ? any info much appreciated .

Current freeze on hiring expats. However this is expected to be lifted early next year in anticipation of the arrival of their first A330. They require time on type (A320/A300) approx. 500 hrs and a current ATPL. QA has howver recruited pilots without time on type. I guess they can be a little more selective now in light of recent international events!!

Apparently the company's expansion plans are still on track. QA has not been significantly affected by the terrorist attacks as most of their passenger loads are to the sub-continent etc. The country and company continues to grow.

QA has never recruited people with no hours on type and the minima is 1000 hrs on type for an f/o 2000 hrs on type for CApt 500 PIC

A friend of mine was recently hired by QA (approx. 2 months ago) with no time on type. I guess he got lucky.
