One is dealing with a Low intelligence level
amongst the highly inbred local population .
Similarly a third rate group of expat managers will appear competent - they are not !
It doesnít matter .. rake the money and run

If you join as a direct entry capt on 777/787...how many days off in a row can you expect to get per month on average?

You have 4 consecutive days off guaranteed every month, but you can bid for up to 6 days off in a row and you can also add days off before/after annual leave days.

Education allowand

Hi, just a quick question. How soon after joining can I expect to get access to the education allowance and is it paid in arrears or advance?

Thanks

once you pay, you submit for reimbursement, and will be in your paycheck the following month.

Hello everyone,

After the on-line tests and the video interview I have received an invitation for the simulator assessment in Doha. Has the process changed ? As they don't mention anything about theoretical exam or personal interview....

The selection process is as per below:-

Day 1 Arrival to Qatar
Day 2 Simulator assessment
Day 3 Departure from Qatar

Sorry pal. The idea of logging PIC time as a first officer doing the PF work is severely out bounds in all major aviation jurisdictions for at least 15 years. What did you expect, without bringing a credible logbook and then playing clueless, pointing finger at your employer for the mess? Check your own regs, I'll bet 3 bitcoin it says logbook is the pilot's responsibility.

Claiming PIC/P1 time when PF as an FO is not a "small irregularity". It's claiming you were captain, when you weren't. If it's PICUS, then it's different and it has to be clearly noted as such and countersigned by the actual PIC.

At least in EASA land, logging flight time remains pilot's responsibility despite many people thinking they don't have to because they fly for an airline.

i visited in January, passed the tech quiz but ultimately fell foul of my logbook format. 3ven though I had way more hours than were necessary it wasnít in the format they wanted. My previous employer had put the PF as P1 on logten pro and this was one of the small irregularities that ultimately got me sent home.

So itís six months later and Iím about to rewrite by hand some of my logbook and get printed professionally my previous employers logten pro material. Question and assuming Iím an FO what do they look for as a format ie if Iím flying, and of course if Iím the captain but the FOs flying again what are they looking for. I know I was a smuck for ruining that application, but Iíve e got friends currently already out there who are also now having the same things brought up amazingly.

any help much appreciated.

Tonker,

Did you apply for a Capt position or FO?

Theoretical exam and interview

You will have your theoretical exam, group discussion and interview on the first day of the process and will only proceed for the simulator stage once you clear that. All the best!

Housing

Can anyone currently at QR or in the know kindly advise which accommodations are currently being given to DECs 77 upon joining.

PM if you prefer.

It seems to be a bit illusive to find.

Much appreciated.

Knowing Doha, Qatar, the Qataris - I very much doubt it. It will be the same 2050...till the oil and gas runs out ....
