A notary at a bank probably wouldnt slide.

I'm not sure you found your answer, but if you have a FAA License, all you need to do is use the FAA link, https://amsrvs.registry.faa.gov/amsrvs/Logon.asp , click the link that says Request Verification of Certificate Privileges. Place checks next to each certificate you have, insert the email, [email protected], and complete the rest of the form.

Overnight Bags

Cliff:

Overnight bags only provided to cabin staff though I have seen the occasional flight deck crew-member toting one along. Suspect they are available for purchase somewhere but they look very heavy (and very large).

Your overnight bags get checked and put in the baggage hold when reporting for duty so I can understand why they must be durable. Suspect they undergo the same torture test as the passenger luggage (find clip of famous Samsonite advertisement) :ooh: !

Congratulations to Red Baron and hope to hear good news from the other applicants.

FULL ATPL
Anyone in the same boat?

Congrats Red Baron:ok::ok:!!!:D:D:D

ugflyer,
It was fast. Congratulation. Did you apply for DEC, FO or SO? Do you mind telling us your flight experience?
take care

Iver 22nd Mar 2012 03:15

Seems like many recent FO newhires have been allocated the A320 fleet. Would be interesting to hear if anyone in the coming months is given a 787 FO slot... :ok::cool::} I'd be happy to take it if offered:

Anyone know if recent newhires (last month or so) found out they had been allocated a non-A320 seat (i.e., 777 slot)? I realise a few people got A330 FO slot a few months back...

Good news

Hi guys,

Just to share that today I got the same mail that speedhold and redbaron got yesterday.
I interviewed on the 29th of February for DEC, and I'm 320 type rated. So maybe the TR gave me a push on the time frame...

Good luck to you all!
Hope to see you in Doha...

Beech 1900 or Similar Experience

Does anyone know if there have been any Second Officer interviews or hires for candidates with >2000 hours PIC in a turbo-prop such as a Beech 1900 or similar multi engine turbine aircraft i.e. <12,000kg MTOW? Cheers

perritopiloto 22nd Mar 2012 13:57

Congrats to all those who received good news.
I am still waiting for my contract. 9th week almost gone.

See you all in Doha

Doug Neidermeyer 22nd Mar 2012 14:34

So, what's this I hear about 40 pilots been sacked since 1st of Jan.
I mean that's a bit stiff!

Anyone?

21-Lancer 22nd Mar 2012 14:41

Rumours @ Doug Neidermeyer

Hi Dough.

Did you also heard about any reasons for this or something?

simmatch 22nd Mar 2012 14:42

Anyone here actually got any failure notices? I did the interview/sim last week and hoping for the good news standard "4-6" weeks. But what are the chances of failures having moved from written and surviving all the way to the sim? Does everyone get the confirmation eventually??
