Disappearing Threads

I have read with interest previous posts about disappearing posts however I did not believe it until yesterday. I posted a response on a thread re crazy Chris from Qatar Airways and today the thread is gone.

Moderators is there some explanation please apart from the standard - the original poster deleted it.

Therefore I pose the same question is Saliya Karinayake still at Qatar Airways with his buddy Akbar?

Chris the Crazy Gay

The thread got deleted becaused Chris dirty works started getting exposed which somebody did not like it!!!!!! Appeal to AAB-First sack Chris and have someone who has very good knowledge about Rostering. If Rostering issues get solved, 75% of problems in Flt Ops would get resolved automatically. Crazy Chris is an useless idiot.

If you slander someone on Pprune, the owners are legally responsible... Therefore they will always delete all threads that mention names......

Suggest you try again without names.

Yes a lot of postings get deleted on this site.

Even on jet blast there is a lot of heavy handed editing to say the least, not because it is senseless but because the mods don't like it or it pricks their conscience. There have been cases recently where threads have disappeared, giving me the impression that the pprune moderators on JB for instance seem to me to be pro Islamic terrorist. I know of one ppruner who got banned for speaking out against terrisom.

I guess the mods "get off" on all that power they weld by deleting threads.
