Oman Air to double fleet size by 2011

Oman Air envisions a substantial increase in fleet capacity, from 12 aircraft at present to around 25 narrow and wide-body jets by 2011, the airline's Chief Executive Officer, Ziad Karim al Haremi, said. Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the company's Extraordinary General Meeting and General Meeting at the Grand Hyatt Muscat yesterday, he said the national carrier, now 82 per cent owned by the Omani government, was poised for a bright future on the back of an ambitious restructuring and rebranding exercise
Macki to head airline's new Board of Directors. Substantial increase in workforce envisioned.
I thought I read WY was already 100% government owned.

Yes, they need pilots at the moment but, you will have to fly B737-700/800 for the moment and the move to wide body according to seniority when wide body becomes available.
The pay house allowance ,school fees, according to friends working with WY.
Don't expect the pay like EK, EY or QR but will mach GF. Living in Oman is different!
