Living in Riyadh

If and just if.. you get good conditions by the company you will be employed by, it's not a bad place to leave ... sorry live ... in. IF they put you in one of the good compounds (Alhambra, Cordoba, Eid, Kingdom and some other I don't remember) you will have all the facilities. (At the begining it feels like Club Med) As long as you don't have to pay the rent.
Schools, .... very good, some people say they are better than in the US or the UK. My kid goes to the British and I'm impressed... good education and standards. Just try to get a job that you can have some good time off, so you can leave (With your family) the country for a few weeks or months every 2 to 3 months.. For the ones that stay home and don't fly out, it gets realy borring... home, shoping and.... that's it...
Need more info??? Let me know...

Regards ... hope to see you around...

Riyadh is rough, especially when compared to other cities in Saudi. I lived there for two years and was on a nice compound. Things have changed in the last couple of years and its not as safe for Westerners out on the streets like it was in the past.

Would feel a lot better living in Jeddah.
