Qr A300-600

Would anyone knows how long QR is planning on keeping their A300-600? How many of those have they got,a nd what are the route flown on this type?

Any plan to retire them and replace them by 330?

I'd appreciate any info since QR is proposing me either the A300 either the A320, but pushing hard for the 300...

Thanks in advance guys.

I think they have 9 A300 right now and according to the expected fleet of 52 aircraft in 2008, I suppose they will retire some, but couldn't say which type . I can't say which routes the A300 are operating, I have seen the A/C a few times in Europe but can't remember where, sorry !
Could you give us some infos on the interview ? I sent an application recently, and would love to hear about the recruitment process .

Best of luck ! :ok:

The A300 is currently used on the following routes out of Doha:

It is also used on certain daily services/seasonally on flights ex-Doha to BEY* / AMM / KWI / AUH / BAH / DXB / MCT / SAA.

It is planned to gradually phase out the current fleet of 9 by 2006-7, with the exception of the Freighter, the current cargo fleet of one single A300 will be supplemented by another in 2005.

*These primarily ops by A320 / A321.
