Non alcoholic beer and wine is err still, non alcoholic. The thing I find most strange is the much heralded order for 737 Max’s which was about to be signed up for at the Dubai air show did not happen followed by in my view a very strange radio silence. So what and when is the narrow body order? The appointment of the seriously pilot unfriendly Bellew, sued by Ryanair and virtually kicked out of Easy by the pilots (no confidence vote) does not fill me with confidence. Anyway good luck to all applicants, I hope it is airline nirvana.

corporal klinger;

You are spending too much time and effort talking and arguing about a country you seemingly do not care about and think going there is a “‘mistake”.

We all use this thread to get useful information about RIA. I am sure your time is more worthwhile somewhere else.

"Initially celebrated for its revolutionary design, The Line, a linear city within NEOM, was to redefine urban living. Yet, recent reports suggest a dramatic scaling back. Earlier this month, Bloomberg revealed a massive reduction in the metropolis’ scope – from 105 to 1.5 miles – and a decrease in likely inhabitants from 1.5 million to fewer than 300,000 by 2030. Furthermore, funding uncertainties and workforce reductions indicate a project in jeopardy."

Next up, the airline which planned to be bigger and better than Emirates...

Update on salary

Well after the update on salary figures on the pilotcareercenter website they certainly lost my interest. Maybe they pulled the same tactic as flydubai did in the early days like an A scale salary B scale etc?? Still nothing official though 🥴

Good luck, no one is going to leave Qatar, or Emirates and go to Saudi for those nonsense rates. Nor will they come from any developed countries.

I am not so sure. They probably got flooded with applications. USD go a long way in SA, India or Russia..And F/O's might come just for the rating and a few years of experience..

I thought Rosaviatsiya (?) were no longer providing license references for Russian licensed pilots which makes it impossible to validate or transfer license to other authorities. If this is correct there won’t be any russians joining at least.

Russian CAA (Rosaviatsiya) indeed did not provide verification of pilots' licenses. However, this was from about 2016 to 2022. Now Russian CAA is responds to requests and provides verifications.
