Just keeps getting worse at Qatar Airways

So as everyone thought, Qatar appears to be trying it on with Airbus. A lack of pilots has led to many flights being cancelled and the grounding of the 350s has allowed Qatar to divert flight crew to 787 and 777 fleets. It appears now that Airbus simply wont take any sh*t from Qatar and has cancelled a 50 aircraft order. Furthermore, Boeing will now have the upper hand with any future negotiations as there is no competitor for them to worry about.

You reap what you sow. This is no 5 star airline.

Agreed. There was a brief period back in 2015-2017 that we actually had a good thing going here, but things went South after that. A continuous erosion of conditions since then. 2022 is going to be interesting with all the crew that are planning on leaving...

Now Airbus raises the stakes in this fiasco. What will happen to outstanding 350 orders? many more still to be delivered.

Keeping you guys busy on 787? We are flat out on triple.

Not Surprising Nor Unexpected...

Getting MAX 10 with Shorter Range than A321 Neo is a interesting call, It'll be very interesting to see, Which Customer will be given the slot of 50 A321 NEOs by Airbus, Alot of Airlines are interested in Neo's and would want to Jump the Que.

In my Opinion, B787-8 wouldve had been a better range to be utilized in Medium to Short Range, Since MAX10 will have Less Seats in Y Class and won't be flown as Full Economy by QR anyways...

The rot black stuff started long before 2015. many pilots wanting to join under any conditions!!! I voted with my feet. saw a long time before that Ts & Cs will go down. Never did i regret my decision. Colleagues who stayed positive lost all in covid terminations!! Not many experience pilots will return after the covid.
