From what I've been told new requests of living out allowance has been stopped under any circumstances. If you're currently receiving it the only way to keep it is by having a title deed and dewa both under your name and on the same property.

I probably wasn’t clear enough, what I meant was the “survey” was targeted at Pilots getting the utility allowance. It was not sent out to anyone else getting the utility allowance, to the best of my knowledge ie not to Doctors, Dentists, Engineers etc etc.
It seems to be being pushed by Fleet - the Scottish bloke; unless anyone knows differently?

Allowance is already adjusted on the career website
the original what we know -15% - I would say that’s a good indicator on how much of it will come back in the long run

What I heard is that if your contract is expiring you won’t get the allowance and you need to move into company accom - not confirmed by knowing somebody

I've a couple of friends who are moving back to company accommodation as a result of coming to the end of their tenancy.

It's happening.

My lease expires in a few months.

Got the email last week.

How does the company know the details of a rental agreement between you and a private landlord?
I assume Ejari registration?

Hardly clandestine. Compulsory survey to have been submitted by end of November.

For those renting, Lease agreement and Ejari registration must be attached.

End of survey.
