Qatar A380s "will not return for at least a year, maybe never"

QR will cut 25% of its fleet to meet reduced demand until 2020-2023, so the A380s will be grounded until mid-2021 at the earliest and might stay grounded for good, says 'The Chief'.

Also wonder if some other A380s in the region will ever fly again after a similar pronouncement by the President of EK. At least the sim checks are starting again later this week for a few A380 drivers in case they are needed anytime soon.
