Emirates Denies Being Hit By Pilot Shortage

Emirates is a well-run airline. Only a monstrously incompetent airline would let such a large flock of pilots leave for better terms, without itself offering better terms, and again Emirates is well run
I don't know about you but "monstrously incompetent" describes EK senior flight ops management pretty well...

Don’t worry the company have heard you and put the Costa prices up by 20% to finance the pay rise. A snip at €5 a cup.😉

The inflation is insane particularly when the strong dollar means prices should be falling.

If you can muster any interest in past annual reports you will find one that says "this has been a particularly difficult year because of the strong dollar" and another one that says "this has been a particularly difficult year because of the weak dollar".

You can dial 1800-47333 (1800-GREED) from anywhere in the world and it will direct you straight to Dubai.

Was in a pub last night...nothing fancy....they were charging 70 dihrams for beers. That's 19 USD for all of you aspiring to come here.

It was just a few years ago that the Armani Club in Burj Khalifa was charging 80 AED for a mixed drink. That was one of the priciest clubs in Dubai. 70 for a beer in a pub? Ouch!

75dhs for a single pint of hops!!!!!

I don’t know which Irish establishment you found yourself in but no wonder your location tag has you in the departures lounge at DXB. If prices regularly hit that level, I’ll be right behind you!
