Hello all,
For those who passed Qatars assessment and are in the holding pool waiting there is a WhatsApp group.
For confirmation we require evidence of proof send to q[email protected]

Any email being sent will be treated accordingly. Please don't forget evidence of being accepted for the holding pool and phone number you want to use.

For all newcomers please be advised the email address is mentioned above and proof is required. Without proof we are unable to process as we have had to much spam and unwanted entrance in the past our apology for this.

It seems to be a bit unclear for some newcomers but sending an email with the message : Assessment done and placed on hold
Unfortunately is not acceptable. This can be written down by anyone and does not provide any proof.
Please be so kind to send a screenshot of the email that was sent to you to tell you that you are being placed in the holding pool.
Bare in mind this email will be treat confidential but is for your own protection when placed in the group.
As the group is private I am sure you can appreciate only people enter that are actually in the same position as you.

Hello all,
So great to see that slowly people are getting DOJ. Maybe still people out there that are not in the holding pool app but want to be in the app?
Make sure you sent the full proof email received from the company to the email mentioned to authorise your entrance.
We are looking forward to work all together in the future.

Good news you all that they re opened more application opportunities. So I am sure more of you are going to be in the holding pool soon and feel free to come swimming together with us.

Hello all,
As we receive so many emails without phone number we would like to remind you that swimming without a phone number is can be dangerous.
In order to reach you in case of drowning it is vital to provide us with a number ;-).
So please don't forget not only to bring your own towel but to provide us with a number.

Nice to see there is an enthusiastic joiners for QA. I have just been offered an interview in Dec. Just a few queries :-
How long most of you have been waiting, after confirmation? Why such a long waiting period ? Is it worth the wait?

Actually the wait time in the talent pool is not so long anymore. Last year was an exception due to the blockade, which completely changed the scenario and manpower requirements for Qatar.
Now that everything is settled and they figured out their numbers things have started to move on a faster pace again. I'd say the average wait time right now is 6 months.
Bear in mind that plans change REALLY fast in this part of the world. What is true today might not be a month from now, so don't take those numbers as a hard rule, but barely a ballpark figure for the current situation.
The key is to be patient and wait for your turn, but always have a plan B.

WTF are you talking about, I am personally in the holding pool since March 2017, not that I care anymore I've got a good job now but still, 6 months might be for Boeing, you do the math for the bus drivers.

Take what people post with a pinch of salt. Nobody knows exactly how long it will be as it depends on many factors such as whether you are A or B rated, hours, if you are typed on QR aircraft, a Capt or an FO, the ongoing blockade, aircraft orders/deferrals, etc. And probably many more factors which are beyond me :-)
For Boeing pilots, things are picking up which is good news for swimmers. The upcoming new FTLs might have something to do with that.

I'm sorry, indeed I forgot to mention I was talking about Boeing rated candidates. For Airbus things seems to be quite slow.
