Is STC getting a little worried now ?
Is it just me or do we think that despite the bluster that STC is getting a little worried now that his train set would appear having issues.
Numerous excuses about the how and whys of aircraft being parked up and services being reduced etc, from we are expanding and cannot get enough pilots, but the ones we have aren't leaving , all the way to it is the quiet time of the year.
July & August are traditionally heavy times, will be interesting what quotes come from the Bouncy Castle then.

9 million cadets SOPs. There is so much BS being spewn around at the moment, that I think they have forgotten what is real and what is not . Maybe the new dude in recruiting has a few hundred pilots hidden under his cap.

170 zero time, zero experience 22 year old pilots to act as second in command of a 500 million dollar aircraft with 600+ people on it
But Outlaw, don't you know, safety comes before ALL else in this company! They said so every time some other thing happened that just wasn't at all their fault, so it must be true!!

He is not worried, despots rarely are. I am worried however.
He wants to bring back the boneyard by the end of the year and thinks his academy built in the sand will be the solution. I see my vacation days dwindle and 95h as a given for the foreseeable future and this i will not be able to take.
A leader with such poor math skills is like a doomsday verdict. The way out gets prepared.

It would seem that the grown ups (sic) believe they will get 200 pilots from SAA and another 100 to 150 from CX in short time. Sounds legit .Everything will be fine . Can't wait for TCTs wise words this afternoon.

Myself and 100´s of other pilots tried for years to join EK, but having only flown business jets for 15 years where the aircraft weight was 270kg short of EK´s weight requirement (YUP 270kg) to be accepted for an interview, we were politely turned away. Even with a GCAA ATPL and 12 years of flying fast jets in the Middle East, the 270kg I was short when it came to the weight requirement, was a deal breaker but I truly hope that the large number of cadets joining soon will bring the experience we were lacking
