Pilot Forum outcome?

So today was the day of liberation from tyranny and oppression yet nothing posted so far. Just how bad were the threats of doing so?

The lack of info should tell you that majority of the whinging masses on here preferred not to attend.

A lot of the "Whinging Masses " as you so delicately put it were working into their overtime rostered flights.
I know I was.

Gardenshed,

Glad you were working hard into your overtime. I supposed had you not been, you would have been first in line to object to working these kinds of hours??

AAR eventually turned up after one of our colleagues challenged why he was not there from the outset.

If senior management can't make an effort to at least be present, then it highlights how the concept of these meetings is nothing more than a farce!

Do pilots still think that the company cares about us?
Isn’t it obvious by now? Get real and get out of here as fast as you can.

This is the guy who needs to be replaced; no use to hire/replace the minnions below him.

You bet your sweet rear end I would have been there. I’ve been here 14 years now, just waiting for one more thing in my personal life to hopefully drop into place, then I’m out of here.
But it’s a bit difficult to attend when I’m still strapped to a seat on a rostered flight.

Since you don't seem to know much more than us. I would assume you are also one of those whining masses then ?

The pot calling the kettle black.

MusingMonk,

The nice thing about this site is you have the ability to view all my previous posts. But I don’t think you have the time for that; flying your rosters and overtime. I’m what you refer to as a ‘troll’

I heard last night that it was a strong turn out, filling the EGHQ auditorium and the pilots were very vocal about all of the right things, and yes, one guy calmly walked to the front, shook their hands and gave HAH is resignation letter and walked out, very cool!!!

Well done to those that went and and had the balls to stir up the "Hornets Nest" it sounds like you did quite a good job.

Why not? A barotrauma may keep you from flight but it sure isn't a reason to stay in bed (Words from my own manager's mouth some years ago...)

so, I guess after the cabin crew forum we were all expecting something interesting from "ours".

The absolute quiet that reigns on this thread tells me that a bit less than nothing (interesting, that is) came out on the 25th.

is that really it?
No one who attended the forum is on this virtual forum to give us at least some "tasty" details?

Regards,

KL

That chap who gave his resignation at the forum, must have very big b*lls or extremely stupid. Well why would you want to leave?
