Your 65% load factor? The fact that your Yields are the lowest they have been since 2009? Last time I paxed on EK between DXB-DOH, be lucky if there was 150 passengers on board. This FACT is something relayed on numberous occassions by friends who work there.
So what facts are incorrect?

Your not so subtle allegation that QR is subsidiesed by the government is as subtle as my assertion that EK gets the same benefit from their government.
Hear is a link to the half yearly results. Q1/2 System-wide pax seat factor is 77.2%, last years was 75.3%

Can you provide a link to the this assertion that the yields are lowest since 2009. I’d genuinley be interested in that information.

Using your one flight and what friends have told you is not exactly scientific. Can you provide a source on the 65% load factor - that would also be interesting information. You may well be right as I believe ‘load’ & ‘seat’ factor are different.

This financial year is a tale of two halfs - the second half is showing stronger than the first half from all accounts.

No, do your own research.
But I will say this. Load Factor why I provided and Seat Factor which you provided are 2 very different things. We all know there is no money in economy class. My figures are from a large financial institutions report up to 2016. The rest of my information comes from the very accurate and completely truthful posts on this site.

However lets move on to the real topic you are trying to highlight here.
That Dubai and EK are far superior to Doha and QR.
There are endless pages of pilots complaining about everything and anything regarding DXB and EK. But the only reason QR pilots don’t complain is out of fear of retribution.

So lets state some facts.
702hr yearly average since I have been here. Never had my leave cancelled or changed.
Get atleast 3-4 out of my 10 requests every month. (10 Seychelle flights is not realistic, but you have to be in it to win it).
As far as I know Curfew is only related to airport arrivals and departures, mostly in Europe.
Only once had less than 9 days off in a month usually get 10.
Apart from Running with the Bulls and laying next to my Flight Attendant girlfriend at the beach while she sunbakes topless, there is nothing I don’t do here that I did do back in my home land.
I send a few thousand Euro back home every month and don’t go without while I am here.
My airline or country is not going broke anytime soon. How my airline makes money is for my airline to worry about not me.
Haven’t had anything but constructive and positive training on any “check” or SIM.

So keep tapping away in your frustrated and regretful delerium. Some of us are happy with where we are in life.

So nothing to back up your ‘facts’ other than your mates and your flight.

Got it

Gracias

Cool

IBE8: Bravo, You had me at topless sunbaking old boy. Fishing monocle out of gin fizz and Miles Davis on pause. You make a good point though. Comparative T & C s and livability etc are certainly not what they were.
But its all much of a muchness. I'm down the road in Derbyshire flying the Boeings. Life's pretty easy, money i guess a bit less than EK but I'd rather have a run with your bulls than be with EK, from what I read and hear. We're all expats and here in the ME3 for a finite time as a part number so no need to hang on too tight as to importance and who's better than who. I'll be off by the end of the year too. Lot's of jobs and opportunities all over. Do what makes you happy, as long as its legal.
